1.Publisher information
chitrasante (chitrasante.com) is a “publisher of news and current affairs content” under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Publisher details, Nodal Contact Person and Grievance Officer are published on the Publisher Info page.
2.Editorial & AI disclosure
Chitrasante is assisted by an AI bot that collects, summarises and drafts Kannada film-industry news from public sources. Every AI-assisted article carries an “AI-assisted · human-reviewed” byline and a linked source. A human editor owns final approval before publication. AI never fabricates quotes or attributions.
3.Content licensing & fair dealing
We report news under the fair-dealing provisions of the Copyright Act, 1957 (Section 52) for reporting current events. We paraphrase rather than copy, quote at most a sentence with attribution, and always credit the source with a link. Images are license-safe (official YouTube thumbnails, Wikimedia Commons, CC-licensed stock, or AI-generated illustrations labelled as such). Hot-linking other news sites’ images is prohibited by our editorial policy.
4.User conduct
By using chitrasante you agree not to:
- Post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, hateful content through our booking/newsletter forms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to admin systems.
- Scrape, bulk-download or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without written consent.
- Use automated bots to abuse the AI chat or reservation endpoints.
5.Subscriptions & payments
Magazine plans (₹999 / ₹3,999 / ₹9,999) and meet & greet reservations are paid via Razorpay in Indian Rupees (UPI first). Digital access begins once payment is verified. Refunds are at our discretion and governed by Razorpay’s settlement cycle. Replacements for delivery issues will be arranged within 30 days.
6.Sponsored content
Sponsored articles are always labelled “Sponsored”. They are written or cleared by our editorial team and remain subject to editorial standards.
7.Intellectual property
The chitrasante name, logo (ಚಿ mark), layout and original reporting are our property. Third-party trademarks (film titles, studio names) remain their owners’ property and are used editorially.
8.Limitation of liability
Content is provided for general information about the Kannada film industry. We are not liable for errors and omissions in aggregated third-party sources, for decisions made based on our content, or for losses from unauthorised use of your account.
9.Grievance redressal
Complaints about content, the platform or user experience may be filed via the Contact page or to grievance@chitrasante.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days.
